Administrative Assistant
**SALARY $70k to $200k per year based on experience and performance!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Restaurant Administrative Assistant. As a Restaurant Administrative Assistant, you will provide crucial support to our restaurant management team by handling various administrative tasks and ensuring efficient operations. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the smooth functioning of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and events for restaurant management.
- Take a proactive approach in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
- Assist in payroll administration
- Ability to process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents, ensuring proper coding and timely submission.
- Coordinate and maintain inventory of office and restaurant supplies, ensuring availability and restocking as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining employee files, including employment contracts, certifications, and performance evaluations.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and new hires onboarding process.
- Assist in onboarding new hires, including conducting orientation and ensuring completion of required paperwork.
- Create and update various restaurant documents, such as manuals, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Support restaurant managers in daily operations, including data entry, report generation, and information dissemination.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with the utmost professionalism.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative, and demonstrating a proactive approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
